All I know is never put Polyester on Epoxy foam because it melts it! You may be okay if you're just layering - but I don't if they bond.

I'd steer clear of it.

I've seen people use epoxy resin over polyester and the top coat turned yellow over time. Not sure if this had anything to do with the different resins though.

Boardbumps would be the best person I think of to ask.

Epoxy is o.k. onto polyester for repairs.

Rod, epoxy is a superior glue, it will stick to just about anything. You have to be careful tho if you have used a fill coat poly resin it will contain wax but all you have to do is sand the poly coat and the epoxy will stick. It is the other way around that you get problems, poly over epoxy.
