Hey folks,
I just bought a shiny new paddle, and got some rubber stuff to protect the edges of the blade. The guy in the shop said it was adhesive, but when I went to stick it on I have discovered that there is no adhesive stuff inside the rubber beading.

Should I: Superglue one end, then stretch the beading around the blade and super glue the other end

OR

Superglue the entire inside of the beading to make sure it stays put?

OR

Is there another handy trick I can use to fasten it securely?

Here is a picture:

Fit the bead on from one end till the other, cut off excess, superglue last two cm's on either end and good to go.

Pretty sure DJ (surprise, surprise) has posted instructions or maybe even a video, either here or on the Standup Zone! Happy googling.

What he said. That rubber strip stuff that fanatic supplies is awful, it will mess with the blade action of your paddle. Throw it away or find another use for it.

Don't put super glue on it as after a while you will need to replace the rubber strip. Just use some electrician's tape and it will be fine.
