I surfed tonight with Revvin at OG main beach. We had east wind, fat surf, cross chop all the joys in life. Revvin caught quite a few waves on his Kalama whilst I took more falls than Evil Kenevil.

I have the new PSH 10'6 Wide sorted in reasonable to bad surf but in the night mare stuff there is only one way. Paddle inside sit under the lip and take a licking till you get one lol.

I just couldnt get any speed on with the cross chop lumps and bumps so late take offs were the order of the day. You would just get on one and pray for the reform only to see it fatten up more. I dont need to do any more excercise this year according to Revvin PMSl.

Then to add insult to injury 2 grannies turn up in the car park that were havin diner at the Dunes and tell us we were great entertainment.

To top off a great day I had a short boarder ding my brand new board

I am using the ale and scotch and dry memory eraser on today.

Tomorrow has to be better

DJ,

Revvin rocks, always has a smile on his face and he just seems to love life. Going for a surf with him is a pleasure. Tough work but we had a ball.

Hey Mac,

I worked so did Rewvvin but we have the jungle drums workin during the day via sms. We both needed a surf!!!!!!!!

Mac the 10'6 wide is great, I love the board to bits but I struggle to get speed to take off in the conditions we had tonight. Revvin was struggling to stand on his 11'6 Kalama and he is about 10kgs lighter than I (eats another rice cracker and has a skinny, decafe lo cal waterless latte).

I think I need to take more steriods or eat more beans PMSL.

In even ok conditions for me at 105kgs the 10'6 wide AA rips.

Regards

Phill

Phil,

I have a 10'6 wide the same as you. I found coming from an 11'6 I had to use shorter faster paddle strokes to get the best out of it. I have been spending a lot of time in flat water trying to improve my paddling.

Mate I've been keeping a close or closed eye on your comments and find them interesting.Being a big unit myself 100kgs, and a longboarder for yonks ,its almost a case of looking in the mirror I demo'd the 10.6 wide a few weeks ago and AA and J told me this is the board for me Call it a sales pitch, but after 10 mins,I found my second wife! 10 + great shape nice curves and a fantastic lay!

SF, thanks for the tip i really appreciate your input. I take really big long strokes on the drive, sometimes to the point I drag myself off the board lol.

I will try some fast twitch paddling and see if that helps.

If not more steroids and beans as I said before or perhpas the optional 100hp out board attachment.

The reason I am posting my experiences is so it may make it easier for others
