This thing looks like a cross between a SUP distance board and a canoe. It would be good for long distance coastal trips, but obviously crap in the surf.
It's interesting how this sport is going in different directions at once.

Anyway, I want one!

That's a lay down or kneel paddle board there is a long lever that lays flat on the deck , it goes between your knees so you can steer.These have been around for many years in the surf club scene , originally there were made from modified racing skies.Good friends of mine used to race these in Hawaii in the Molokai channel race.

Australians have dominated this sport for last 15 years and we also took out the race again last month.

You would want to be good to try an stand on it. and they are crap in the surf.
