I have owned a PSH 9'11"extra wide ripper for about a year or so and am loving it.But recently it has been getting a rather massive heal indent from my back foot when I kickturn. This doesn't bother me,It's actualy good to guage where my feet are while I concentrate on other stuff. What is a worry though is that the deck may split and let in water like a shortboard does.I'm shure I'm not the only one that has ever had this happen,I need some comforting now please tell me that it's nothing to worry about.

IMO.. It's nothing to worry about.. It's called ergonomic's.. .. PSH are quality boards so it sholud be ok.

Windsurfing boards used to have heel dents in the foot strap area after the first jumping session and they usually just stay like it without a problem.

Check for springy sponginess that might mean delamination.. That's a a worry if that happens.
