Was out SUPing the other day and chatting to a local. He asked me why I was on a Starboard SUP. I said cause I like having the mastbase in it. He nodded wisely and said OOO your a sailboarder, most of you blokes will only use Starboard or Naish gear cause its what your used to. MMMM lets see surfed for the last 37 years, on a number of customs and even some off the rack stuff. Sailboarded on and off over that time. Had a Naish SUP changed to Starboard but also have a couple of 7s boards. My view on both Starboard and Naish is they make some of the best gear available on the market, sailboarding, surfing, kiting and SUPing.
