I don't reckon he or anyone else would ever make it on a sup.

Besides, haven't really experienced red thumbs before so I thought I'd see what it's like.

The first stop is Deal Island.

Wilsons Prom to Deal Island is 80km away. Can you paddle that far in one day?

Having dived the area for 20+ years there are a number of currents to condend with that from time to time are quite fierce, super tankers also ply these waters and the weather out past Redondo and around Deal can change in a blink.

I have made the trip to Tassie island hoping twice in a Hydrofield Vessel in reasonable condtions you just need to watch the weather patterns consult the locals plan plan and plan some more.

With vessel support and the right conditions I believe its doable for someone of Jamie or Lairds calibre.

Well considering he has won the 66km Molokai to Ohau paddle board race 8 times straight , I reckon he might be a chance.

I'd would back him all day , you would be a mug to bet against him.
