Hey,
Does any one know of any adjustable paddles with narrow blade widths for the little ones? Can see a few options but all with wide blades.

The Werner Nitro and Carve both appear to be narrow blade widths and you can get them as two or three piece adjustables.

Kialoa have just released three new paddles that will be much cheaper because they are not carbon.. (but also not alloy).. I'm not sure about sizes and if any are adjustable but they will be light and durable and being aimed at entry level paddlers so let's hope one is a kids paddle.. Even if one is a Pipes size it would be good for kids.

My 8 yo has been using a Clark Rubber $30 alloy and plastic paddle which he finds easy, reasonably light - paddles my 112 Fanatic Skate up the Onkaparinga quite well

Is the C4 adjustable? Does not look like it on the web site.
Hey David,
I sent Kialoa a message to see if the pipes comes in adjustable, the junior padle they make is 8 1/4 wide, pipes blade would be better.

Good one russ,
We are actually doing similar thing at the moment. Problem is he is almost growing like some out of control weed. Need adjustable.

Have a good one, hope you win.

Here's a couple of pics of the new 'cheaper' Kialoa paddles.

"The 3 new SUP paddles are part of our new line called the "Ikaika Series". The blades are constructed with a material call Continuous Fiber Reinforced Thermo Plastic (CFRT). This material is light, durable, and less expensive than carbon/fiberglass and epoxy.".. Dave Chun.
