Simple question. My blade fell out of the paddle pole. Clearly wasn't glued in very well, and I can't paddle very fast now. Any where I can order just a blade?

If it's a reputable brand from a reputable SUP outlet, then they should consider a free replacement.
I haven't heard of anyone having this problem though.
Otherwise contact a SUP outlet. Take your paddle shaft in there. Ring them up first.
But I'm guessing the paddle is a cheaper one... ?
(Husq, the place of origin of original purchase might have even been Asia via eBay, a 2nd hand paddle, or anything... )

Thanks for the tip simondo, I wasn't out to shame, I have a couple of paddles that have been busted in transit and thought i may have been able to help him out with a blade, that's all.

Thanks all. No the blade vanished in the surf. I bought the paddle and board second hand a while ago, the Board was starboard. Otherwise in perfect condition. I'm left with a perfectly good black carbon fibre pole with a handle. Seems a waste to buy a new entire paddle when a blade would just fit in.
And live down in Esperance, so can't just pop in to an SUP outlet, none down here. Post only!

OK, what brand is it?
It's a round shaft at the bottom, or oval shaft.
Accurately measure the outside diameter of the shaft too. Give the paddle shops a ring.
I think we underestimate how much momentary force we can apply to a paddle, especially in the surf. Have you seen how far Tha Dogman digs in his paddle? Plus we sometimes bang and crash the paddle into boards, reef, sand banks, knees, thighs, etc.

As far as I know no one sells just a blade. We're working in it, but it's an inventory nightmare. Most paddles have the blade permanently glued in place using a long setting epoxy that is strong and doesn't melt at lower temperature like the five minute stuff will. You're not supposed to be able to get them apart, though it's feasible. I've done it, more or less.
Our paddle uses a reinforced ferrule instead of a frog, so we don't need permanent glue. We hot glue them. But as far as I know, we're the only ones doing that, so there's no reason for dealers to carry blades.

My Wife got a timber $5 outrigger paddle from cash converters/pawnbrokers many years ago and i made that into a SUP paddle with a long carbon shaft (7 cm of blade/timber shaft glued inside carbon shaft with super strength epoxy glue . It was also too big so we cut it smaller (sides and end )and painted resin on the bare wood at the same time.
