I've had one for 2 years-in all kinds of conditions-never ever nearly felt like it'd break.

My wife's had one for the same amount of time-things I see her do, she should've broken a few, not yet (she doesn't read SB ).

Bloody great paddle.

It was one of the ones being sold on trademe a few months back....think its an older model no longer sold in aussie.....put the blade on a jimmy lewis shaft so not a total loss

Not quite so cheap if it works out at $100 a week before you looking at a twisted carbon shaft
.......but am not saying anything bad about kia kaha in particular
Have snapped a few carbon paddles of various brands
Am a Jimmy Lewis fibreglass shaft fan myself

I've got two of their paddles used them for about 3 or 4 times a week for three years by a big clumsy boofhead and they are still going strong.

A really good product that i would happily recommend.

Cheers
Andrew
