Browsing a surf mag the other day I saw an ad for KoreDry Surf Shirts and, now that things are slowly starting to warm up down south, have been looking for some summer flatwater and surf paddling clothing options.

Anyone have any comments - mmmm, can't seem to get the YouTube link to work, haven't tried before. Anyway, the web site link is: www.victorykoredry.com/

Any other suggestions for warmer weather options for supping?

Nah, seriously... The RipCurl 0.5mm/1.0mm wetsuit rash vests are a good starting point. A few people do a retro 2.0mm+ vest, and even options with the "beaver tail!". Next step is the springy...

The Hot Skin is a great addition to your line-up. There's usually a few at Rip Curl 2nd's, good chance to buy now, before summer hits properly !!

Being that you are in Vic have a look at some of the Patagonia wetsuits/tops. Another option is their capilene 1 comes in short and long sleeve and is founded on research from trail running so is quick drying.

I've got a Ripcurl Hot Skin top but I find it's actually hotter than a full steamer wetsuit because the rubber lining is like a sauna for provoking fluid loss through sweating.

I only use the hot skin when I know I'm going to get wet, like surfing, or DW runs when you are happy to go in the drink... I don't wear it for pure flat water.
