This is a total long shot, and don't worry I really feel like a dope.

left my paddle down the foreshore, on the warilla side near the boat ramp yesterday morning around 10.30.

didn't realise 'till I went back down this morning at 6 and unloaded the board and went to grab it....

its a Kialoa methane and had a few scratches near the blade end of the shaft from where I was antogonising a monster mud crab.

any info leading to return will be duly rewarded with beer (or cash if you prefer)

fingers crossed

thanks

The SUP forum actually needs one of those permanent "heading threads", entitled "Don't forget your paddle!".

There might have been some "down winder" lessons last week. But this is a constantly relevant little lesson too! It's happened to a few people already. Seems easy enough to do, rushing around, thinking about getting to the next appointment, etc etc ....

Another basic lesson, is probably making sure you have the board strapped to the roof !

I left my wettie behind once, was back there within 30 minutes, and I claimed it !! Seems that no one was very interested in my pee-pee wetsuit, even though it was a Rip Curl Elasto !!

Totally agree, Simondo go sit in the corner and face the wall, how would you feel losing an expensive paddle

Yes Doc can and will mow you down in the forum but he comes across a well educated type and adds some smarts.

Best way to avoid this problem is to own a paddle cover. I don't think the cover does a rat's for protecting the paddle - but when I see it lying there empty in the back of the car just as I'm about to shut the tailgate, the light bulb goes off in my stupid brain
