Even though laird is huge, he is a super good surfer and could probably ride boards thiner than most but i think you would find this board would have fair bit of volume under his feet, where it most counts! I notice Laird still rides pretty big boards with the mal like rounded nose, havnt seen him on many like the naish 9 6 " surfboard shape, interesting point right there i reckon
