Does anyone know where to launch a SUP in the canals of Raby Bay Cleveland without going out to the foreshore on Masthead dr? Is there a public ramp near the marina?
If you park down the end of Portsmouth Place there is a tiny beach just next to the main canal entrance - can even use it at low tide as its a stones throw from the canal. Other than that the public jetty in the harbour works too.
If you are looking at paddling the original canal there is a parking lot off raby bay blv that you can walk to a small beach to launch with a short paddle to the canal.
Never done it myself but you could park near the bowls club on Shore street and try and get in to the little creek that feeds into the bay..
Hopefully its paddle weather this weekend - been a while!
