Hi ,new to forum and new to SUPeeeing, I,m a long time surfer ,but am really enjoying the challenge of stand ups. Kids bought me the board for Xmas spent about two weeks flat water paddling getting some balance, then it was out into the surf where I fell awkwardly on a wave and put my knee through the bamboo deck ,cracking it.
Then my troubles began trying to get it fixed. Local repairers not really knowing how to repair bamboo ,other cutting it out and just filling with epoxy ,which is what we did. Thank you Johnny Skipp. So Board has been repaired, Replacement deck grip on its way and board should be ready to go this week.
I,m a shift worker and get time off through the week and am looking for any one to go for a paddle from Sandon pt down to Green island.
