Kirra Surf on the GC stock them, Luke Egan and mates ride them and they RIP big time!As they are made locally,I'am sure customs would be on offer!

Thanks Mac, I'm gunna get one of Rod's boards I think but just saw the JS promo video with Luke shredding on his quad Magic Carpet. It looks like it's about 8' but Luke's a big boy so could be a bit bigger. The thing is so loose! Might have something to do with the rider as well!

Have you just seen or ridden both? Asthetics don't mean much.

How'd it go compared to Rod's Surf Shapes boards?

I have only seen Rod's boards.

I think the chance of finding someone that has rode both of these boards is nil.

But after riding the magic carpet 8 footer yesterday thats what i would get.

Just my Opinion.

I would think that would be hard to say, if you have not tried both boards How do you know if it would go better or worse with out trying both boards

Not sure I would risk using some one thats not already shaping sup boards. Sure anyone can make a boad that will basically work but if you want some thing thats a current design, go to someone already shaping sup. Expensive risk otherwise. Freight interstate isnt that much.
