Best part about Qld holidays is the couple of hours of daylight to play with early, before the wife & squids are up.

It's not quite 6, and I'm just about to head out for a splash (despite a little bit of rain). In a couple of weeks it'll be dark again, I hate paddling in the dark (will just have to be late to the office a bit more often).

Moving from NSW to QLD I was at first feeling bummed about no daylight saving but now no way do I want it. Best part of the day is early morning and you can get at least a few hours in before work.

Plus up here you still get a few hours after work in Summer.

Would hate to see it come to Qld.

no daylight saving means the curtains don't fade so they tell me but I have blinds so.....
Also if the state treasury thought they could tax it somehow they would bring it in.

WAs where its at, even ask New Zealand, I reckon half there population resides here now.

The state government sent us all to the polls too see if we want it and we vote no, then they say too bad were having a 3 year trial anyway. 3 years later we vote again, same answer....no I love this state
