My self and a few others are road tripping down to Merimbula from the Goldy, most of us are goofy footers. just wondering has anyone got any suggest for some good spots to stop for some left hander action
Hey Marty, the strip of coast between Bendalong (30 km north of Ulladulla) and Batemans bay is littered with lefts. Some classics are:
Bendalong Beach break Green Island Golf Course lefts (Mollymook) North Narrawallee Dolphin Point (Near Burril Lake) Point North East No Toes (near Bawley Point)
Plus heaps of semi secret spots that a friendly local might tell you about. November admittedly is not the best time of year down there but you never know. I reckon the NSW south coast has some of the best breaks in OZ. Looking forward to checking the Merimbula area myself as I haven't been down that way for about 25 years!
We are not all goofy footers so if we have to go left can it please be a sucky one?

Bendalong Beachy Golf Course Rights MollyMook Point (super gnarly tube) Ulladulla Bombie (possibly best wave on East Coast NSW) Potholes (Gnarly Tube close to rocks) Bawly Point Guillotines (Gnarly Tube close to rocks)
Hundreds of other spots as well.

Mate i hope your lucky enough to get the Bar in Merimbulait is a CLASSIC lefthander,and November can be a chance .I used to go up there every year for the Melb cup long weekend,usually 1 or 2 good days would pop up,but mostly surfed Pambula river mouth.Good luck on the way down.

what day are you guys putting the keys in the "instant crowd prime mover" of yours and migrating south into the final frontier of the six fingered, two headed and three toed sloth wilderness of nth nsw

lefts everywhere down that. good stuff for a goldie natural footer. my backhand surfing went up a few levels. got back home and teared into dbar lefts like never before. after month home it all faded away
