The Marlin Coast Challenge is an Outrigger/Surfski (soon to be SUP) 38km Relay and Iron Race from Ellis Beach to Port Douglas in Cairns Nth Qld. Some big names from down South are racing this year, Woogie Marsh, Travis Grant, Chris Maynard, Toddy Cohen, Pete Dorries, Amanda Ozolins and Belinda O'Sullivan for the women. - Plus some awesome locals as well. Check it out, tough bloody race with a sad ending.

This will be an awesome SUP race, for the past 4 years the wind has been 25ktsSE and Pete Dorries has stated the runs are similar to Maliko Run. No so this year, but keep an eye on this race for next year with SUPS doing relay or Iron.
