Dave (the fireman) and I are doing a down-winder today.. The conditions look perfect and if anyone wants to join us you're welcome.
We will head off from St Kilda beach about 10-10.30am and paddle to Sandy.. It will take about 1 3/4 hrs.
Dave will have his new DC 16'er down wind board.. I can't wait to check it out.

DJ, what an amazing three days in a row you've had. Wednesday was great fun and I think most of us are all a little jealous of all the fun you've been having.
That dick tracey watch of yours looked huge, surely it can provide much more output than that.
Can you output a google map for us? I love these geeky toys.
Oliver I just need to work out how to get the GPS thingie to talk to my computer and I should be able to show it on a Google earth map..and maybe graphs and stuff.
DJ, it's pretty simple once you get the hang of it.
Use the Garmin Training Centre software to download you GPS data, as "history" files. Once you have these simply go to View and select "Output to GoogleEarth". When Google is activated you will see the garmin Training centre History files.
It's a great tool.
I though you were going to trial a DC16 on this trip
