Went out at Mettams today. Such a sweet SUP wave. Small grump of prone surfers bobbing, waiting for the sets. Only the sets would float them, but the SUP was able to pick up wave after wave. Not being greedy because they plain and simply couldn't catch the waves I took. The reef at Mettams is interesting. The reef outcrops we used to call "niggerheads" are quite startling. Clear water with a column of coral poking up. Wipeouts are a like a form of Russian roulette.
