I tried to add this to my last post but it looks like it's too old a post to add to.

Why do some people like to much such a splash when they paddle?..

Here's a link to the old post for those who missed it.. www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=39089

Hey DJ,
I am going to try some wooden paddles. Have you seen the Shaw and Tenny they sell at tropical blends shop in Hawaii? They look weird but I hear good things... i will have them this week, i will let you know how they go.

Yeah Scotty I used to like the look of those..but I'm not sure now..(long skinny blades..right?)

They may be good for down winders of cruising but I'm not sure I could get used to that odd handle shape.

If all else fails you could just hang it on the wall..They sure look nice..They look like something the ancient Hawaiians would have used.

Post some pics when you get it and let us know what you think.
