I'll see if i can't track down a pair of vectors. in a pm, blane suggested 4.5" sides, without being specific as to model. i'm sure i can figure something out ...

meanwhile, using the stock gl sides and an 8" cutaway i had hanging around, i took the board out for her maiden voyage this morning, in 2' - 3' surf, and it was a blast. i swear it caught waves easier than my 10.5 starboard and once on the wave, it hauled butt.

one thing i'll need to get used to is the much-smaller sweet spot for taking off and a nose that, so far, wants to pearl. no biggies, i'll sort 'em out.

but i do need a more stable fin set up. i was at the outer reaches of my ability to stand comfortably and, after an hour, my balance fell apart and i went in. but what an hour.

plus, on one nice closeout, i managed to cross step close to the nose before getting hammered, which rated a few hoots from the laydown crawlers. bueno!
