After being good for six weeks post surgery, today was meant to be the big day.....

Super excited I have put the fin in my brand spanking new board then strapped it onto the car. So I am ready to hit the beach, pumped, grin ear to ear. But then it happens, I stick the keys into the ignition, turn, but there is nothing.

After years of driving my car with no problems. Today of all days I have a flat battery.

ARGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Curse you Murphy's Law.

Always seems to be the way where a moment of joy gets trashed.
I remember getting all excited taking a brand new board for its first surf, loaded it on to my new car and was super stoked with life. Had a great session in the water only to get to my car which was gone never to be seen again.....killed my day!

Everything happens for a reason.
Perhaps you weren't suppose to drive today.
Sometimes that helps me through the day when it doesn't go to plan.
