Finally got round to putting a vid together. I didn't think of filming till after the race had started and of course the battery went dead before the finish but there's plenty of footage of all the Aussies. Hope you enjoy it ...

Thanks DJ...They all paddled unreal and it was really enjoyable to watch. I actually really enjoy putting those vids together. Maybe if I work on looking good in a bikini again I could get a job with Von Piros Productions ??

Yes well the commentators kept commenting and asking over the load speaker after the race .. "What is the secret with these Aussie Paddlers all weekend?" so the guys went on stage at the presentations with vegemite sandwiches and tubes of vegemite.

The crowd got a real laugh out of it ... wonder how many paddlers actually went home and Googled "Vegemite" ??

......too funny! I reckon there would have been a few who tried to find it for sure. It's probably making the rounds now as the "key to paddling nutrition". Congrats again and thanks for sharing the vid......

dont laugh, a mate of mine did the hawian ironman a few years ago,was the first non-professional out of the water and in about 15th place...... the night before he was eating vegemite with a spoon
