Up till now I've been using two main paddles.. A Kialoa Shaka Pu'u cut at 12" overhead for flat water and down-winders.. and a Methane cut at 8" over for the surf.

My Poo is my most used paddle but there's been many times during down-winders that I've almost fallen and pulled myself off balance because the blade sometimes feels a bit too big.

My Methane is too short paddling my 17 on down-winders so I decided to buy another Methane and have it the same length as my Poo.

Here's some pics of my new Methane.. Check out the new graphics and it's not just a sticker.. I think it looks pretty cool.

Also I've been thinking about how hot they get in the sun on a hot day and how much cooler a lighter colour is.. so I sprayed the face in a flat white.

I'm also thinking about spraying half the shaft so when I put my paddle down on my board on a hot sunny day it will blend in with my white Naish deck grip and hopefully stay cool.

Apart from the new graphics is their any difference?

i hope the missus renee doesnt get that flowery designed methane with the APSmag prise as i cant possibly be seen with that out in the surf with the boys

by the way DJ you just sprayed that paddle so your stickers stand out more
