Brand new to the whole SUP'ing thing. Just bought a Naish 11'6 which came with a set of decal stickers. So I'm wondering whether I'll regret affixing these to the board. Will they buckle and peel and gather sand and generally make me wish I'd stuck them on the back shed instead? Anyone have any experience or advice on this entirely frivolous question?

stickers on boards means your sponsored. so if youve got no sponser = no stickers.
you wanna maintain that "im not sponsered because im underground look" when your strutting down the beach nodding to all the bikini clad ladies on your way to that secret spot where no cameras ever go!!!!!! stick em on the shed.

Welcome PTwoody, you will need to direct this question to the resident Naish spokesperson and guru - DJ who will in turn direct you in the correct and permissible application and positioning of said Naish decals.

Thanks Shimmy, I have been cultivating a look of "I'm not sponsored because I'm mostly under water!"

I don't think I'd bother with the stickers mate. The 11'6 Wood deck (if that's the board you're talking about) is too nice a looking board to cover it up.
I didn't even apply the deck grip and use wax - makes a old man like me look kinda cool!

Must be the mid life crisis!

I don't know what Naish were thinking with those big black and white skull and crossbone stickers.

I like stickers but I can't see much use for those.. I wouldn't go sticking them on your board.

I'd rather a small red Naish sticker like what's on the nose of the Glides and I'd stick that on my car rear window.. or maybe on my paddle (if there was space)..

Yeah I agree totally Wizard - the deck pad for the 11'6 Wood has been deep-sixed in favour of wax. The only bit I like is the Naish 3D logo, which I've seen someone cut out from the deck pad and use separately. I might try that.

In the mean time, I've picked up a Glide and maybe I'll stick one of the stickers to the underside. Maybe. Anyhow, thanks for the advice.

Stickers on the bottom will stop it from gliding
