If anyone is planning to paddle around the Festival tonight be aware the pontoon for the fireworks will be moored just to the north of Wimbledon Island about 20 meters off the lake side houses. They have put up a couple of marker buoys too I reckon to discourage anyone getting too close. With an east to nor-east breeze be careful if you come up the gap between the island and the mainland.
I asked the blokes setting up the fireworks as I paddled past this arvo.
