Being mostly a flat water paddler I love the current trend towards more specific flat water boards.. Not big wave boards.. do it all boards.. race boards.. or down wind boards.. Just good stable and floaty easy paddling flat water boards.. The other day I checked out another new flat water board.. The new 12' NSP.. I took these pictures and also took it for a paddle.

It's a big bulky board to carry and store.. and not real light.. but once in the water it's super stable and has lots of glide.. The grip is soft, smooth and cumfee and still grippy because you don't need real aggressive grip for flat water paddling.. The hand hole is in the right spot and I love all the flush mounted tie down points on the deck area.. The quality and finish is better than I expected from NSP and it's worth taking for a demo if you get the chance.. For those who want a board with no interest in hitting the waves or surf I think it would be a great choice.
