I,m looking at purchasing a new Carbon adjustable paddle for around the $300 mark. Any brand suggestions please?

I dunno what prices are like in Australia, but you'd struggle to get a full carbon in the UK for that money. Probably better to get a blend of fibreglass and carbon from a reputable brand.

Having said that, here in the UK there is a local brand called the Snell Brothers who produce excellent and very light full carbon adjustables for about that amount of money. In terms of weight, durability and performance they are right up there with much more expensive brands costing twice as much IMO. Maybe you have a similar local brand close to you, or you could get one shipped from the UK? I don't have any connection to the brand. I think their website might need updating because I don't see the adjustable on it, but I was told that they are selling one, so you could try emailing them. sbsboards.com/sups/

Hi I just bought a AWOL adjustable paddle on eBay for $220 and it's quite good.

Check your local Naish dealer because Naish adjustable's have a very cool anti twist system that keeps the handle in line with the blade..
