Had a top day with my daughter this arvo. Demoed a Fanatic 9'2" from Windsurfnsnow (thanks guys) and along with my big Naish off we went. Flat water fun, she mastered starts, stance, turning, paddling and falling off!! We laughed our heads off, saw spring babies including ducklings, geese and lots of fish, pelicans and other wildlife. Stopped for swims, chats, water stuff. Just an awesome dad/daughter day and now she (15 year old teenager who is happy to hang iwth her parents) wants me to get another SUP. As you can imagine Im happy with that Geez, I love this sport!!!

Ahh, the good 'ol days of Maui 1988 are now just a distant memory.

The sup bug has bitten me hard as well Grant. My family is also hooked and I now have both daughters and wife constantly pestering me about when our next paddle session is.
To complicate matters further, I finally took my dog out for his first sup session on Friday and we hung out for 2 hrs just paddling around, swimming and enjoying the water.
That's sup for you!

I'll pm you for a catch up!

Nice warm fuzzies. I hope my six-year old girl makes it to your daughter's age. She screams and fusses so much that I think my leg-rope might just find it around her neck. I hope she comes around some day.

Ta all, best part is the wifey got a bit jealous after all our raving and now wants in as well when uni exams are over. We just might become a 3 SUP family, fingers crossed!!
Good to hear from you Wazza, those lazy days in Maui and Troppo House seem like only yesterday. except its 23 years ago, bloody hell

Hey Larko, 23 years ago!! Hell, I still think I'm 23 y/o. [ even tho I was 25 when we were there].

It's ok if you become a 3 sup family. When I take my tribe for a stroke, it's a 4 sup stack, which takes some planning. Still, it's easier than doing a 4 stack of poleboards!

Like your work!

sounds good Larko, we have had similar fun and share our 2 boards between 5 of us. Sometimes Sue and the girls even get out in small waves. So we have 2 boards if you need a loan anytime drop by and borrow 1 or 2. We'll have to hook up and get the kids out together too sometime
