Howdy!

I have recently bought myself a NSP 11".

I live in Redcliffe, Brisbane and would love to know if there is any SUP groups about.
I have been loving it and am looking forward to enhancing my skills. I am about to give this board a work out on some wave action which should be interesting!

Let me know if you are a SUP boarder around this beautiful area!

Cheers!

I know its not exactly your backyard but keep an eye out for posts by swanie from the sunshine coast stand up paddle club. It is definately worth a drive up for their club days especially if they are running it at mooloolaba spit. They are a really friendly crew and will make you feel very welcome no matter what your experiance. they offer a mixture of fun flatwater activities and safe surfing events as well and there is something for everyone. They meet on the second sunday of each month and although I am working this sunday and will miss out it would be good to catch up with you next month if you can make it up the coast.

Casems,

I've been Sup'ing for well over two years round Wellington Point/Thorneside way and haven't spotted another SUP.

Moreton Bay shallows are great for it though, I see turtles and rays every session, and have had the odd dolphin and dugong encounter.

Contact swanie off seabreeze and make yourself known - good crew - no egos and very family focussed. Hope to see you next month. B.
