That is the sickest SUP pic I have seen to date! He must be flying along that face, its so good to see SUP riders showing that we can ride any type of wave.

Almost reminds me of that great Laid shot where he dug his bottom hand in the face in Tahiti - here though it looks like he is going to drag the handle in the face............or maybe he is just stoked to still be hanging in there on such a great wave. I hope so. Personally I would be watching from the channel on the SUP at that size. Hats off.

You sure it looks pointed to me?? but yes there were guys there with round nose boards as well i think Dave won on a round nose board. I still think a pointed nose board would work better but thats just MO..
