Anyone know the dates for next year? I would like to go next year and watch, maybe hire some gear and have a surf as well. Any suggestions would be welcome. I assume you have to book travel and accommodation well in advance.

Well this year it was held on March 3 - 9 so i'd say it would be close to that date if not the same for next year.

Thanks Ben. I checked the calendar, 9th is a Sunday, which makes sense for the finals. Next year 8th is a Sunday, to 2nd to 8th March seems likely.

Good idea to set the rule of using the same board for surfing and paddling. That way us everyday crew are not disadvantaged over the guys who work in the industry with a full quiver of boards at their disposal.

Where can I get an entry form for the Honolua comp at the alley?

Hey Casso, I like my arsenal.

That demo Naish 9'6" is also back in store if you want to take it for a spin.

Cheers,

Sam.

Hey Ben Dover?

Is this true? The last time I talked to Guy he was all keen for using different boards for each of the disciplines.

Oh well maybe they might be changing it, but thats what it was like last year. I'll asked him at the next Club round.
And i think its on 2 different days this year aswell.

Yeah Sam - I was talking about guys like you! The perfect board for every occasion. Jealousy is a curse, I suppose.

I might pop in tomorrow to try the 9'6". Thanks for that.

There's got to be some perks to running a shop.

See you soon.

Sam.
