Shaping up to be the BIGGEST Expression Session Demo day on the Sunshine Coast.

The Noosa Heads Beach Boy Surfing club are having a Expression Session day on the Sunshine Coast and are asking Rep's, Manufacturers to bring Demo stock down for our club members to try.

Alot of our members have been surfing SUP for a couple of years now and are looking at other boards or more boards for there quiver.

We are planning on inviting the Sunshine Coast club plus anyone else in the area as well, so they can demo a range of boards and the more reps we can get down to the Expression Session day the easier it will be for club members to ask questions and pick peoples brains on suggestions and recommendations.

The Club day is on the 1st November we are having it on the open beaches at Peregian Beach - Butchers Car Park

Date: 1st November 2009
Location: Peregian Beach - Butchers Car Park (South Side of the PBSLSC)

I am training the young fella up to pull the Quiver Kaddy down to the Beach on his bike.

I think he should be able to pull 4 + boards on his bike??

Kia Ora Darryl,

I don't think conditions tomorrow will be the best for a learner SUP Surfing.

In Saying that it is open to all SUP Paddlers - Non Noosa Beach Boy Surfing Club Members will have to pay $10.

Thank you Jodie and the team from Noosa Beach Boys Surf Club. It was a fantastic time with a friendly bunch of people. So many toys.

Now I want more. Will sell boat to make room.

Love the quote from Peter.
"If you can have only one wife you should be allowed many boards"

Cheers and thank you again.

Gerald from Session Savers - had a display of his Energy Bars. These are the best small enough to fit into our pocket big enough to full your hunger

I think this was the most trial boards - Woogie took it out twice.

I think Rambo got some footage of him surfing this one and when he has finished watching Star trek I will get him to do a review on it.

Thanks for organising such a great even Jodie - it was awesome to be able to actually see all these boards we hear so much about in the flesh and be able to pick the brains of the shapers/importers/retailers. It was quite refreshing to have all these different boards and brands and everyone sharing thoughts and ideas about each without any politics and prejudice which seems to becoming so commonplace nowadays. Really, really good day and big thank you to everyone who brought their boards along for us to ogle and surf. I hope there are more of these type of days in the future and be good to get something like this on the Goldy.

I rode a number of the Laguna Bay boards: All really good. surfed really well.
Rode the 9'6" All rounder. Great Board.
Rode the new Laird boards. Very stable and surfed really well. If you were restricted to one board these would suit your needs. Favourite of the Lairds was the 10' board.
Wanted to try the 9'6' MacTavish but it was popular on the day and didn't get on it. Will try it soon.

I wouldn't slam any of the boards there as it is so individual and that is a good thing. IMO it comes down to weight and ability.

If you get a chance you need to try them. If not work harder and buy them all.

Great day. Should be more of them. Definitely wet the appetite to buy another.

Cheers
