It was saying account is suspended for me then it started working finally.
I think the final is going to be later then it was meant to be. the finals were extended to half an hour and I don't think the over 65s got run so I'm not sure what time that makes it. Maybe around 1.30-2.

billy pulled off some serious big time moves on a wave that i saw, one of them had a free fall drop. keahi looked real good and so did jackson close. noel graham also did very well as they all did. got to feel sorry for the goofyfooter zane i that stuff.matt ripped, but just didn't seem to get the better ones- his time will come. billy puts his surfing on the line in the comps and is ahead of the pack at the moment- well done
Shame about the conditions, again the guys surfed super considering what was on offer,congrats to all who made the final,and how about Keahi!!top effort for a youngster.
I didnt watch the final I was still devo about the two holes in my board and my snapped leggie in my quater heat hahahahaha oh well. But I watched the scores on the net and it was very close between you and bill. Pity about the waves though.

For anyone that didn't know the festival has live streaming today. Not sure if this has been posted but you can find it here.
Well done keahi i heard you were ripping great stuff keep it up. Also did you pull an air in the final? Ididnt see it but heard along those lines if you did that should be scored extremely high as they are bloody hard for a sup. Anyway congrats to all finalist as they beat some great surfers getting there great stuff.
Thanks guys, it was hard heat and definitely super close with a few guys. There was definitely a few guys standing out from the pack and it was good to see such a high standard in the comp this year.
The conditions were definitely a bit hard but there was still some good waves coming through. Billy was surfing good and got some pretty good waves it was always going to be hard to beat him. Jackson Close was definitely a bit of a dark horse in it all and did pretty well to get third. He could be someone to watch out for in the future. Noel and Lummers were surfing good but they seemed to struggle to find waves in final. Zane was also surfing well but was finding it a bit hard on his backhand. I managed to find a couple waves but couldn't really manage to find the bombs like Billy. I got couple good waves but didn't really get the waves I wanted to. It was super hard to be in the right spot but I still got a couple alright ones I was happy with. I got one sick air that I was stoked with and i don't really know how I made it. I'll put a clip up of it soon.
Anyway it turned out to be a super good event this year and I'd really like to thank the organisers who put it all together. There was some really good surfing going on and keep an eye out for some of the action from the event.
Struggled to get the live streaming working for the finals...well done to all the competitors, crazy to think there we 60 SUP's entered from around the world.
Good to see women, teeangers and the older guys all ripping. What a great sport !!

I agree! He only just started SUP last year just before the Roar contest. If is is already getting 3rd here he is definately someone to watch out for. I saw him ripping last weekend and is even doing big boosts on his SUP.
