It was through the city today and it was cold, overcast and the water was foul.. but it was still worth it..

What a great board - probably well priced too if the other NSPs are anything to go by. Is it heavy?

Great "Kialoa in the John Dory" shot - you don't say that sentence everyday!

No Casso.. It actually very light.

I was amazed.. It's lighter than their 11' board.. But it also still seems very strong and stiff.. I assume it's full production and not pre production.

mate you are usually more in depth.whats happened/ i am looking for a big board to paddle a decent distance, drop crab pots stuff like that. Looked at more exy brands and have seen some things i like but have been told by a few apeople that i should look at their explorer board. Looks like that, oh god im getting nowhere. Could you please demo the explorer? and give me a full review...please, please

i saw this board up the sunny coast. i just have to ask why 12'. are they hoping to be classed as surfing sups?

the 14' er i paddled a couple of months ago,it was quite heavy- pre production i believe. i liked it and i'm pleased they have made it lighter. that was my only negative feed back to the lenders

good price too
cheers

thanks for that SA and LL. i saw it and it looked ok. For some reason i thought it was bigger than 12. i would like a board like that only at 14.

The 12'er does look good and I like all the different places that you can attach your leash to ..

btw.. laceys lane .. They have three new boards coming.. 12' (shown in these two pics) .. a new 12'6" .. and also this new 14'er.

It's a very different board and if I wanted to use it for down-winders I would choose the 14' Glide for sure.. I like the big nose rocker on the Naish.

But as an all round flat water river/lake exploring or family type of board I would have to say the NSP might be a better choice.. But that's what I have my 17' Glide for..

At first it has a slight wobbly feel but you don't have to tip it far before it stops and it never feels like it will tip over.. It soon has a safe and solid feel.. Great for paddling on the Yarra's toxic water .. It has a nice release of the water off the tail with no wake or side waves.. You can paddle fast without that feeling of pushing water.. I like the deck shape with a slight dome but small concave dip along the sides.. I'd buy one.

DJ

btw lacey's lane.. I've heard the 12'6" is a square tail BOP type of board.
