mr rager, what joe blair needs to do is have a interchange centre piece.
a board could be 12'6 or a 14 ' er. technical racing or distance racing
and if it was fast, well the perfect setup for the interstate/international race paddler now that the board lenghts seem to be set at those two lenghts
think the origami board will do pretty well
. If they could be kept light I think they might work for race boards. Two pieces 6'3" for a 12'6" with an 18" centre "extension" piece. Not sure the outline could be extended to make a 17'er and then there's the problem of steering. I'm sure there are clever chaps out there who could make it all work
