Hi All, Not long now
All SUP paddlers are welcome @ Outlaw Races.

We have organized 4 races this season all in the Open water and the best coarse possible will be plotted on race day.

10am Race start.
1.30 Presentation

SUP Outlaw #2. 5th Dec 09 (part of the Anaconda
Adventure race week-end) at Lorne.

SUP course. Pending wind & swell conditions this coarse would run out into the ocean and come back along a natural right hand surf head land for about 2 km only to turn in the shore beach and do it all again. Commencing early in the morning to maximize whether conditions.

9.45 Race brief.
10am Race start.
1.30 Presentation

SUP Outlaw #3. 27th March 10 Barwon Heads.
SUP course. Will be a river race starting at the Barwon Heads little jetty heading under the Barwon Heads bridge and out and around the far ocean marker. Turning and finishing the event back at the Barwon Heads little jetty.

DJ,
My guess is that you will see a couple towards the front of the pack at the races! I too would like to know a bit more about them, but it seems there is still secrecy surrounding them. However, as Outlaw are saying the boards all have to be 12'6 and under.....................I'd place my money on the fact they are 12'6--and that there will be a few of them at the Outlaw events.

See you guys tomorrow,
Ronnie

good find jenkz

http://www.hobie.com/stand-up-paddleboards/126CR1-stand-up-paddleboard.aspx

I knew Hobi SUP's would be making an appearance sometime in Australia. The big arse trophies, styled t-shirts, mysterious boards and comps..... It's all starting to make sense now.
