Hi Everyone,
PSH has had a manufacturing glitch months ago in the factory that has since been fixed. The problem has been some boards have had rails that cracked open. The numbers so far reported have been less than 30 worldwide out of well over 1000 made at that time.

PSH is 100% behind making this right and the factory is standing behind their products and will replace any board that has this problem or any other defect that is a factory issue.

OGSUP has had it happen to him and was nice enough to bring it to our attention before coming on here. I appreciate that OG but I really want people to know we have nothing to hide and are addressing this issue which is our first challenging problem we've had. Hopefully the last! All manufacturers have or will have some kind of defect and this is our turn.

It sucks but it's been fixed so we know its a temporary thing on a small amount of boards. I just want to let everyone know we are not going to hide from this and we will replace any board with this problem. If you pay to repair it, keep the receipt and I will pay for that too so you can surf it till a replacement arrives.

The factory has been notified about OG's board and we are waiting for word how his will be replaced and these kind of things are treated as a do it now. We have not sent one from the factory to AUS yet so we will see how fast they do this. This is a high priority issue and I am always on them to get things fixed if we have a problem.

Think you do all right yourself on the board front!

Back on topic though, very good response to a known issue rather than the usual deny! deny! which always makes it worse in the long run.

Very good business practise; should boost sales rather than the build quality problems hurting sales.

Blane.. If you were standing nearby I'd pat you on the back and say "Goon on-ya Blane".

It's a shame you've had these drama's because IMO you're boards are one of the best in the world and you're one of the nicest guys in the industry.

I've enjoyed seeing your company grow and one day I hope to own one myself.. This little hiccup has certainly not deterred me from buying one.

We seem lucky in Australia, have not seen too many dodgy manufacturers yet!

Fantastic that a bloke like this comes on here and openly admits a defect in a run of his boards, is open, honest and forthright. Thank you.

I own 2 of your boards and have recommended to 4 friends that they buy them, 3 have and 1 is about to-principally because of the quality and performance of the boards-your attitude to customer service is the icing on the cake!

Again, thank you.

PS-like Naish and others do-suggest you put unique serial numbers on each of your boards-would help with an issue like this and assist to track history of boards and particularity assist in a theft.

Thanks for the good words guys. It really is the only way to do things right, right? Got an e-mail confirmation from the factory that they got the info. They are now processing the claim and will move soon.

I'm very stoked the factory is standing behind thier products. It makes my job a lot easier. In fact, PSH will go another step in the future to make customers even more stoked. It is the mission of PSH to focus on customer satisfaction on all levels. Will discuss more on this later as things evolve.




p.s. serial #'s will be on all boards made from this month on.

Just a short note to let people know that this is not he only support i have received from Blane!

On OG13 he allowed me to use his Kook or Kool address which I fully believe in!

I have emailed him several times with questions about fins etc and always recieved a really fast response and he was always pleased to assist!

Just remember guys Blane is half a world away and I got a personal response from him through his dealer network in about 4 hours.

I used Blanes response today in a Sales Meeting as an example of what our sales and services team must aspire to with our clients.

Way too cool. I emailed Blane last night and received a reply this morning. Result: two very satisfied customers. Got two PSH boards today. Very, very happy.

There's nothing wrong with my Oxbow, I just really want a Ripper!

Thats pretty funny ....but show me another manufacturer thats has stuck there hand up and will replace any faulty boards ???? I don't own a PSH but I really respect what Blane he has done. You really have to give him credit for this it's going to be an expensive exercise.

I have 3 fin sets for your 11fter you can try over time and man it will blow your mind! There is a wave down the coast a little that board is just perfect for I have to show you!
