Off topic a bit , but i had a surf on a naish 9,3 the other day and compared to my PSH 9, 2 it was way lighter , not that it surfed any better. Does the Bamboo make them a lot heavier?Or is it just the constuction , my psh looks the same as the day i purchased it and that was a while ago now.

Not sure if its the grip alley , although it could be a factor afterall water is heavy.I think its just the construction , the naish is quite a bit younger than my psh but looked quite a bit older , rails chips ect.Sometimes i would like a light board , but heavier boards a sweet when conditions arent so great.

Guys, not sure about the weights on the Naish's but I do recall their weights did vary a bit when they switched factories. I do know that the Naish generally have a lower profile rail through the middle and carry less volume overall for the same dimensions. I have also heard that the spongier grip is heavier.
It is always worth putting your board in moderate sun, warming it up and checking there are no leaks anywhere from impacts. Hope this helps.
