Hey thanks everyone for your comments.
I was riding the 9'8 x 28.5. A really fun board. I was able to turn and surf the board without using the paddle. I noticed this because I was trying to keep the paddle out of the water and in a position where I could get the best shot... of my butt! Hehehe Its a real trial and error type thing. Just hold the paddle and hope for the best hey.
The Gopro has a boom clamp which you can buy extra. I just put it on my paddle. I hardly noticed it was there. I will take a photo of the set up.
