IMO..more long and narrow is better that short and fat... I'm talking about paddles..

But having said that, JB tells me that the new Naish paddles are short and fat.. So who knows..

There are some great paddles out there now and you need to try before you buy..They all have a different feel and flex.
I like Kialoa paddles because that's what I use and I'm used to them.. I have nothing against other brands.
This is the Shaka Pu'u named after the famous Mel Pu'u..(an Hawaiian lifesaver and SUP'er).
