I don't hear much about Penetrators on this site. Are people using them? I think Stuey Campbells design was so far ahead of it's time that folks are just now starting to catch up. Mine is still the fastest flatwater board I own, by a big margin.

Hi Bill,
We havn't heard much from Stuey lately. I think the mad proffessor has gone back to yachts, submarines or some sort of intergalactic space craft!

Not too many around. And while the designs are undoubtedly innovative and quick, from my observation and very brief experience, they seem to ask a bit of the rider to stay upright and dry. I tend to give Penetrators a wide berth at race starts as there seems to be a fair chance the rider is going to fall in the initial chaos.
