Yes it is. You will be on a 12'6 wash and I will be on yours..... Superhuman rules do not apply to humans....

Just need to hang on to a freak if possible before they disappear over the horizon

Was this meant to be a 12/6 race ? Why guys on 14 ? Looks like it may be a bit of a flog lucky over here it's being 25 kn ssw all week that's in the green for you guys on the east coast with right on your back good old doctor think he will be resting Saturday and Sunday 42 deg

Looks like it hasn't made up its mind, south east at the spit, north east at Coolangatta.

Every forecast is still saying East about 10 knots.

conditions are well, very ordinary. ese swell, ene winds.
paddlers will be going up wind from the south. its going to be a hell paddle. good luck to all

Any updates,from what some of the paddlers were saying it was going to be a hard race with wind direction.

i canned it mate. done my share of crap paddles. only do dw races.

but i was at the finish and help set up with ali for her race finish results tent

.

seeing the conditions and how trashed the paddlers looked it was slog alright.

Just wanted say thanks to the organisers for the 12 towers, and congrats to all the winners. Well done for the effort. It was my first open water race and I look forward to next years race. Have to go, arms too tired to type!
