some dude at cott

Dunnie (Peter Dunn), at Funs Back Surf shop, near Cott hotel (only surf shop in front of the beach at Cott). He's been selling them for a while, I bought my first sup & paddle from him 18 months ago, & he's a keen supper himself.
Also Ross from Longboards Scarborough, he's got 2 or 3 demos.

So you have narrowed it down to Starboard then...just look at who deals them. Jason from West Oz kiteboarding provides a great service and has a variety of boards you could try.
Do yourself a favor and give him a call, this week is perfect to check out some boards

Hope that helps Bertie good luck

I may as well add my opinion..If your just getting into Sup and want it for windsurfing as well I personally think it would be hard to go past the 10'5 in the camo. Bloody nice all round board from what I've seen.

yeah, agree with mollyD, if you have to have a mast track ,,, then go the sb 10'5 ...

the mast track novelty wears off very very quickly though, imo sups are crap for windsurfing, especially wave sailing, too much board and you just want to get rid of the rig when u get on a wave. So i wouldn't make it a priority, paddling them is a 1000 times better.

if memory serves correctly the oxbow range are up there for value and decent construction... u need to get a deck pad for them 75 - 150 buxx

2nd Wind were great when I got my SB 10'5" recently. Also good with advice on the market for second hand boards and some of the ridiculous offers being made for my SB 12'.

Last time I had a look SOS didn't have that much in stock - but they are always good with advice and support as well.

It is worth the drive to Osbourne Park to chat to Jason and to check out what they have in stock - usually the widest range of Starboards in Perth. IMHO.

BTW had a great surf on Sat morning at Yallingup - first time on the 10'5". First wave took a bit of getting used to, but the rest soon followed once I sorted feet positioning out. Can really dig the rail in and use the truster set up to get tighter turns in. A great board!!!!
