Lets keep the talk going for Point Cartwright.Lovely waves to Surf on all craft.
No boat wash to bounce you around,Easy going locals, Never Crowded,Just a few rocks with local bikini models sun baking in dental floss swimmers.
Visiting surfers are offered hot coffee on the cold mornings and a refreshing ale after the arvo session.
The stretch of coastline from The Pocket in the north to Moffart Beach in the south has no shark meshing, severe beach erosion, with oil contamination still not cleaned up from the tanker spill last week.
When a bank forms its is pounced on a local crew of ex "bra boys and long boarders from Nambour who even on the coldest days only wear footy shorts.
This desolate wind blown stretch of Queenslands Sunshine coast is even mentioned in Mark Warrens giude to surfing Australia as being in the top 3 most dangerous beaches, top honours to Gove N.T.for croc attacks 2nd place the Werribbee out fall Vic. and Kawana Waters 3rd.
Swannie keep those pics of Carties up on Seabreeze,I hane'nt slapped anyone for a few days.
Regards

Sorry PT it is not Carties but Mooloolaba in front of the life guard tower.

Great spot where your partner can go and shop while you surf the uncrowded beach.
Wouldn't dare falsely recommend that dangerous stretch at Kawana.... Unsafe.....Big Sharks....Car Vandals......Toxic waste.......Board snapping shorey.....Unsurfable wave......Surf Rage from big hairy people with a penchant for violence.

Nah... best spots on the coast are Mooloolaba, Noosa and Maroochydore.
