I have used Tea tree oil and also WD40 on my carbon board and both have worked well. I have also used one of the "magic erasers" to remove stubborn marks and has worked a treat.

A hair dryer with the stream of hot air running along the edge of the board and not perpendicular to the edge of the board and plenty of patience. There is a risk that you can delaminate the skin from the core with too much heat using the hair dryer perpendicular to the edge of the board.
