Returned home and noticed some guys surfing the bombie on Cronulla South Point. Decided to go for a skate out and watch the show and noticed a guy was out on his SUP.
Big props to the guy.
Saw him take on a big outside set nail most of it, then get splattered on the inside.
Was finally good to see someone out suping in over 2ft. I was gonna join but I only have a 1m long busted paddle.
Cheers Cheeseman, that was the windiest conditions I have SUpped in. It was pretty hard to paddle against it in the end, but there were a few fun sets! My daughters were having a block re-runs marathon at home so I was forced to go out....
I have the 8'8 LSD Shorty. 110L. I have the quad setup and have smaller fins in than it came with. Rides well in 2 foot to 8 foot and is a hand full after that. There are a few Suppers who ride the wall or Eloura most mornings at 7am, come down if you can make it and join us for a laugh.
