Was lucky enough to have a quick paddle of the new SIC X12, 12'6" x 29 1/2 this afternoon.
Im just a beginner at race/dw boards but have had a bash at Naish, SIc and Fanatic. I have a 14' Fly race.
the SIC just felt great from the outset, with a bung knee it was easy to hop on and get in the right spot (I think). The scooped deck seems to put your feet in the right spot and the glide was great. It was flat water with some decent chop from a 10 knot sou-easter in places. Board was super stable, easy to turn and quick.
It has a Goretex plug, small cargo net on the deck and very comfortable deck pad. makes you feel better than you are
